We usually do the asking, but we are more than happy to do some answering too.
If it's not here, just ask.
Why the Name Material?
Material exists to be a force for impact. Our name represents our intent to be effective partners in work which is measurably significant––work which tangibly leads to a better future for all.
WHY THE COLOR MAGENTA?
Magenta is the color of universal harmony and emotional balance. It blends the power, passion and energy of red with the calm restraint and mindfulness of violet. Magenta promotes compassion, kindness and cooperation––like the team at Material.
Who ARe MATERIAL's CLIENTs?
We are highly focused on partnering with nonprofit organizations, however we are also frequently engaged by other marketing agencies and consulting firms to augment their client teams for our expertise in research, brand, design, content, experience and performance strategy.
HOW DOES MATERIAL CHARGE FOR ITS SERVICES?
We are most often engaged on a per project basis specific to services either requested before or recommended after an initial discovery session. Scopes of work are unique to each client, with services being tailored to their specific goals or needs. We are considerably more affordable than a traditional agency or consulting firm, with project fees starting at a few hundred dollars versus thousands.
HOW DOES MATERIAL GIVE BACK?
We lean into every client engagement, providing time and services at no cost before entering into a contractual agreement. We also donate a significant percentage of our time and services to select nonprofit organizations per each calendar year. Contact us for more information on our approach and/or our pro bono services.
